About The Artist

 I was born in Los Angeles, California, and lived here all my life.  I have enjoyed many forms of art, including collage, watercolor, sketching, sculpture, and quilting, and I found painting in oils to be my medium of choice.  As a great-grandmother, I have shared my love of art with my family.  I began painting still life subjects and have evolved into children in quiet poses.  I focus on a subject's gestures and feelings rather than facial features.  I want the viewer to feel the hope and wonder of the children.
